So a 4 point downmove in the OEX and a net no-change in the total ask price on the two options. Actually, by recent standards I think the VIX, here around 37, is on the moderately low end. The market is still hopping about though. As it settles that total ask should drop further, wouldn't you think? I suppose I should watch the VIX closer, Don seemed to have something there when he noted the divergence from the TICK. EDIT. Sorry, my mistake, the original you mentioned was not the Ask but the Bid for the time an hour ago...so there was stripping. Although only 1.75 total, thus far.
