Ann:

Everytime I read that long list of investigations, remember the tax $$s spent(that could have been used to feed the world's hungry or buy winter coats for impoverished American children) and the paltry evidence found, I get annoyed all over again:o)

Yup; me, too. Except that I tend to blame the Clintons for wasting our money. $40 million (or whatever the cost du jour is) is a small price to pay for the dozen or so Starr convictions and a lesser number of resignations so far.

By the way, Starr reports that Clinton himself has cost us $4.4 million just since January by stonewalling and continuing to lie about Lewinsky. How many kids' winter coats do you think we could have bought for that?

Please, Ann; don't blame the cops for the actions of criminals.

RS

Gee, I wonder if you ever remember the poor children incinerated by General Janet and Bill at Waco? I guess they don't need winter coats. (The PBS site highlights the fact that the Justice Dept and Clinton Administration lied about child abuse as a pretext for their assault).

btw, Clinton spent $120,000,000 bombing a pharmaceutical factory in Sudan under the pretext that it was a terrorist facility. Most of the world agrees that there was no terrorist activity there and yet the Clinton administration refuses to allow an investigation called for by many nations and leaders such as Jimmy Carter. But the bombing did get Monica off the news. Priorities, priorities.

While Clinton obviously doesn't care about Sudanese children, I'll be a lot of children could have been fed and clothed for the $$$ it took to fund those "Monica missiles".

One thing to keep in mind - much of what was spent, would have been spent anyway. Many of the resources used for the investigations were government agencies and government resources that still would have existed without these investigations.

Ann, I guess you really must be peeved that the President spent 50 million dollars taking his cronies on a vacation to china, simply to kiss some communist butt and thank them for illegal campaign contributions then?

Me too, I get mad thinking everytime about how some poor street thug is missing out on a lawyer. They say that for every person there is a lawyer. Clinton's got hundreds.

Ann please read my post on Ask God #20941 today. I would like to post here but cross posting is not allowed. It is a brief description of bible fallacy as proved by luniology or typology. These bible thumpers need to understand that their right wing interference in politics is far more destructive than the president trying to cover up his blow job.

The right wing started all those murder rumors of Clinton killing 36 people, the Mena Dope peddling (George Bush Ollie North Casper Weinberger were the ones involved in the arms for dope) and any dirt both true and imagined.
