It is your decision whether to take profits every day. You do this in the form of asset allocation decision making. Brinker said prior to the correction to look at your asset allocation closely because of the risk in overvalued equities. He does not break down his advice to differentiate between IRA money and personal money. You have to do it or call him up and ask him the question specifically.
