Dear James,

Regarding your comment on who are the company will remain after the
smoke, my sense is LU, NT, and CSCO. LU is a strong company with a
very diversified product portfolio and R&D talents. But it has a
great deal of legacy carry with them. It is weak on IP technology.
CSCO is a young guy with a great management and dominates in data
network. NT is the one in between. It has a long history in the
telecom and has made a nice product portfolio in the datacom.

I have worked both in NT and CSCO before and knew how well those
company operates. I believe those three will stay for a quite long
time. As for ASND, I think it will shine for a year two. It will be
take over by one of three. You seems convinced that LU will take an
action right after Oct 1. I hope you right since I have quite stake
in it.

Cheers!
