Sounds great. I hope you're right but I'll still only be a buyer on the way up. If all 4 businesses get going, and Merrill Lynch's analysis can catch the eye of some other big boys, then you are correct and I will lose the bet and shrug with a smile.

Wasn't it Warren Buffett who is the only person in the world to correctly predict the stock market over the last 20 years with his prediction, "The stock market will fluctuate."?

Microsoft does buy back its shares. It does so on a continuous basis to provide for employee incentives and exercised stock options. I've seen it in their annual reports.
