they sure seem anxious to get rid of the first surplus in 29 years.

Spend it immediately, just off the press, give everyone a tax
cut immediately---talk about conservative fiscal policies.

It might nice to have a few extra bucks around for a while.

You're absolutely right, and WS confirms that. When the Dems lost their majority in 94, the bull market took off. I'm quite anxious to see how the market reacts to this Nov's elections.....bp
