FWIW, I'm back in for 1,000 shares. At $3, they cost me about what 100 shares cost me in my previous foray with this stock; put another way, they cost me much less than I lost on the 1,000 +/- shares I played with last time (which I bought for 30K +/- and sold for 25K +/-). Now I'll just wait for the endgame -- the stock can't lose 10% a day for too long and stay listed. Nor can the company lose $4/year for very long and stay in business. So they'll probably either fix things, get bought, or go under. I admit a favorable outcome is a longshot, but so be it.

JMHO, of course, and not any kind of advice.

Hi Thomas, no - MEMC only makes wafers. These are then purchased by
companies like Intel et al to make chips. They are the number 2 producer of wafers world wide, in terms of volume, but number 5 or 6 in terms of quality. They are struggling mightily to improve their quality image. It may be their only hope for survival.
