I have done my part in trying to bring out information and dialog on this forum about DAKOTA MINING including asking if the Company is "Going Out of Business....." (SHOCK)
Well, that failed. So, I called the company and asked some questions:

Is DKT going out of business?
Ans: New refinancing will be (hopefully) concluded at the end of this month (with the Rothschilds) allowing resumption of trading and a resolve for the subsidiary bankruptcy (Alaska "Illinios Creek" mine) issue.

How much gold have you produced this year.

34,000 oz on the leach pads now at a corporate cost of $105.00 per oz.
(now, that's cheap!)

Dakota Mining during their past merger with USMX provided corporate production schedule information that graphically showed that up to 200,000 oz corporate production capability for the years 1999 & 2000, are these levels still achievable?

Ans: absolutely (with the rise in POG)

What are your corporate costs (annual)?

Ans: $600,000

Statement (by CEO):
Gilt Edge mine permit expected to be approved at any time!

If you have additional information or if any of the information above needs correction, be my guest and add or correct....
