Howdy. Just switched to QP, really like it alot. Trying to figure things out....... Is there a way to create a scan to make a list of an IRL industry group? I would like to use IRL industry groups, and NOT use SIC codes (the "if SIC=#" line). I want to take a prior list, and run this next scan on it in order to break it down into industries. Is this possible? Thanks.

Gary/Thread my data trasfer to MS is locking up. I get a "cannot open master file, please close any app. that may be using the file" The catch is I don't have anything open which would be using the files. any ideas out there? ht david please don't spend time unless you know a quick answer. my laptop transfer worked fine so I can do my work on it and get to tech support tomorrow

Gary/thread, I'm experiencing several problems with ticker symbol changes in QP2. One of this is PARL (changed from PARLE on 7/23), the database doesn't show any reliable information between 4/1 and 7/23. Further on I also have problems with CSXCD (from CSLXC (from CSLX)), STUA, GPWC. Is my copy of the database corrupted, and then how to get it back to work, or is there an actual problem with the ticker symbol changes ? I've got the 3/31 CD-Rom and the latest available program files from www.qp2.com, QP2 virtual's latest version is loaded as well. Alain Joaris
