Many have said they are not very good at forecasting as forecasters go. I guess that's pretty bad.

Re:C++ -- Probably need to update my profile a little. Spent some time learning the language on my own when I was thinking of a career change. Actually got some interest privately from some of the posters here on SI.

For me, not a programmer by trade, I'm an engineer, C++ is quite an accomplishment -- I used to code in Fortran which was very inflexible. I think the folks (Strousup? et al) who came up with C++ and the whole object oriented approach (I know there are many others who thought of it before C++) were quite intelligent people.

If you are a programmer -- perhaps you take this all for granted?
