I totally agree, and AMAT has the cash to do it...if they use this down turn to swallow up technologies and companies that augment their business and leadership, no one will ever come close to challenging them during the next upcycle....can you say...monopoly?

The surprising thing about the press release the other day was the canning of the 200-APS. Too bad it was over a a year late. SVGI missed the entire 0.25 and 0.18 technology nodes. At over $1M a pop, they missed out on some big revenue. Hope they can get back into the track business, at 0.15 and under.
