Tough to know what to do--because on the one hand the market seems to be tanking and on the other hand it could rebound some.

Not sure how many you have -- but you may want to look at closing them in dribs and drabs---that way if it goes lower get to benefit and if it rebounds, you still are out of some of them.

Gee, you just threw a wrench into my train of thought....but I guess you are selling due to your "3 day hold rule"?

I have to be out Friday afternoon and all day Monday, so I was tempted to buy puts tomorrow morning to hold into sometime on Monday.

I have to admit I don't like to have a position I cannot watch, but it seemed more practical than shorting the futures without keeping an eye on it.
