Hi Stan,

Enjoyed Doug's and your responses to Genaro, with a footnote from Jan. Seems like you just said that FA was irrelevant, but later alluded to perceptions of changing fundamentals as a reason for price moves that we can see in p&f charts. Are you really saying that most fundamental news, however important, arrives too late to be useful in making an investment decision (because people in the know have already acted in advance?)? Therefore, we need p&f to navigate? Buy now on a signal, and wait for the news?

Seems like fundamentals are important, since expectations (of changes to fundamentals) affect supply/demand, which is so neatly encapsulated in p&f charts.
