DocStone Campaign: GBLX

Folks, not many stocks I would want to go long at this point. Even dirt cheap small caps are getting even cheaper by the day. Forget comparisons with 1990. This is looking more and more like 73-74 for small caps.

But I am convinced that Internet Infrastructure companies, particularly ones involved in increased bandwidth , are the places to be. GBLX is in the same business as QWST: Building an optical fiber network to expand Internet bandwidth for voice and data transmission. GBLX held up pretty well today. And Goldman just started coverage. GBLX is concentrating on the traffic bridge between Europe and US, Asia and US, and Intra-Europe. QWST is handling Intra-US network. But GBLX should be profitable as early as next winter. GBLX has a very valuable property, and no competitors. GBLX will be one of the few stocks I am long in my traidng portfolio. In fact, I may just switch it to my long term portfolio and not mention it again <g>.

Otherwise, my current holdings are Pan American Silver (PAASF) and Pharmos (PARS). I am playing PARS for the upcoming news on its closed head injury treatment. I still hold DRIV.
