Tony,

From Bernie Schaeffer's website:

"Scientists now tell us that the Earth was hit with a blast of gamma radiation on August 27, although no one was apparently in any danger. The radiation emanated from newly discovered type of star called a magnetar that is about 20,000 light years from Earth. The energy released by this star in one five-minute period was roughly equal to what our sun puts out in 300 years, according to scientists. Now we don't want to stir anything up here, but the Dow dropped nearly 800 points in the three trading days following this "energization." Next time, maybe astronomers could give us a few days warning so that we can "adjust" our portfolios. No doubt we'll be seeing the astrologers having a field day with this one.

Tony,
yes Jeff is doing very well. When he left Fido he took with him one of the smartest, sharpest technology analysts I met anywhere. Whether or not Jeff can pick good stocks is open to debate, but he sure knew enough to pick extremely talented people to work for him.

Regards,
John
