I posted...no one cared. I saw jbridge in operation....and asked great questions...heard an answer...and I determined this to be cool, but not cool enough.

That's it. Today I sold (when the market opens), my corel shares which I bought for $ 19.20. Market is 3.00CDN now.

I was told from a "top dog" in Corel BEFORE the numbers were released that they would be "good"...as Mike was saying. (Person was right). However, then I was SHOCKED to hear from this persons lips that "WordPerfect is History", and that this will probably be the last new release, as this person said Office 2000 is going to be too "hot" to compete with.

Also things were said about the Draw market, and it was not pleasant.

To me this means this company has given up.

So have I.

My prediction
Honestly, I believe that this stock will go to $ 2.00 share, languish slowly to 1.65CDN and then Corel will get bought out by April 1st, 1999 for $ 3.50. (Fools day) My guess is Oracle will buy them for their Linux version of WP etc. and for jbridge.

Larry will buy them just for "fun" to piss off and compete more closing with Bill in the fledgling linux marketplace, and all of you will be screaming in 24 months when you say that "it's too bad Corel got bought out, because WP in Linux is kicking ass...and we'd have done great". Oracle will give it away for peanuts, it will be ported to all kinds of systems, and great things will happen. All of this after Corel is dead.

Bail while you have a chance.
