Jack,

Your quote:

"Man must see in order to believe, for he does not believe in the theoretical or postulated world, only what he sees with his eyes and feels with his other senses."

reminds me of something that another great man once said:

"Blessed is he who can believe without seeing..." Jesus Christ

For all,

There are many causes that lead to the effect of shipping resin to Sabin that contained a low percentage of goodies. There are many tools that can be used by management to improve this process. Ishikawa "fishbone" diagrams and KJ analysis are a few. The people at the worksite are not the problem. The immaturity of this extraction process coupled with a lack of leadership from top level management in the area of focused quality improvement has resulted in the current situation. After almost 20 years "developing" a mining process, this company should be (and could be) much farther along in the development of a production process. While Mike McKay's skillset will speed up the development of the production process, I am looking to management to realize that he is not the answer. We need a dedicated test engineering resource at the millsite to be the guardian of the evolving production process. This resource should be responsible for:

1. insuring the highest level of quality of the product.

2. the creation and implementation of process improvements that will reduce costs, reduce production time, and improve quality.

3. creation and implementation of process automation where feasible.

4. collecting and analyzing pertinent process data and creating run charts to allow management to measure the "health" of the production process.

Then we need a resource dedicated to verifying that GPGI is in complete compliance with all Federal, State, and local agencies and regulations relating to the operation of a mine on any or all of their properties. After the AZDEQ situation, I expected (and still do) GPGI to identify a company resource whose additional duties would include insuring GPGI's complete compliance with all laws relating to this industry. Stockholders need to know that the company they invested in is not violating any laws at any time!! Ignorance is not a defense!!

Good Day,

Tony
