I tend to think the market will be up into Friday of next week but from what level is the risk, as far as writing puts are concerned. The entire concept of keeping a position on I cannot watch is anathema to me, I agree. Again, what does it matter, I'm not kicking myself for not picking up the 20 or so Globex points; why I'm wrestling with this issue is beyond me; except perhaps it's because I have some time on my hands and wish to believe I'm doing something productive (no matter how foolish it is from the point of view of my more logical side). Anyway, If you intend to write puts I don't think the intraday low is in....probably won't be until mid-day or late in the day if that does you any good.
