Raptor: I know people who work there. Some companies set internal end of quarter dates slightly earlier than end of month to provide some cushion to bring it all together. Supposedly it got pushed out a week. Why? I don't know the definite answer to that but am willing to guess that it is b/c #s were not in the bag.

Morgan Stanley cut SAP estimates this morning as well. No downgrade that I am aware of. biz.yahoo.com
Boy, that guy got up on the wrong side of the bed!

If I am not mistaken, PSFT traded 20M+ shares yesterday- extremely high volumne on a downday. However, PSFT was not terribly down considering the overall market performance. There is your answer as to whether MS was selling off s before their analyst rammed PSFT in the you know what. Average daily volume is approx. 5M? No news and it trades 20+M? Come on...

I agree. After the upbeat tone recently, It certainly seems to me that the company owed more to its stockholders than the no comment attitude reflected in todays press releases from Morgan Stanley.

I doubled my position yesterday.

Nothing on Peoplesoft's web site. Tried to get through to Investor
Relations. No Luck. Of course they have a nice voice mail system
and if I want they will send me an annual report.
