It took a lot of brute Russian effort, and massive deaths, to accomplish much of anything in WWII. Times are different. We have these little thingies called microchips. Useful for all sorts of wonders. And yes. They really do work!! The only thing missing is the willingness to kill some Serb civilians, if need be. I've got no problem with that whatsoever. Wouldn't start there. But I'd go there. Lord knows they have. And yes, that's what war is all about, ultimately. Killing the other side until they give up. Really ugly business. Completely inexcusable. Unless you have a truly righteous cause. Within the meaning of current international standards. Stopping genocide would seem to qualify. Doug
