I did not say for accounting purposes- I said for setting their targets internally with their sales force. I can say to my sales managers that as far as their commissions are concerned, all deals must be in by the 20th or I can say that they have to be in by the 30th. All I'm saying is that their internal targets were set for approximately the 20th and they pushed them out a week and my source is someone in the sales organization who mentioned it while canceling some beers that we were supposed to have... "I can't make it for beers- our quarter end sales deadline has been extended and I'm pushing some final deals..." Take it at face value or take it that he doesn't really like me that much and it is akin to "my dog ate my homework"...
