The Politicians in Japan have watched as their Own stock mkt has declined over years from 40,000 level to todays. They are going to be polite as hell at the meeting but will not appreciate being Lectured to by Americans etc.

They watched as their mkt ruined many and could not care less if Americans go through the same. However if some "Words and Sayings " come out of this meeting to give support to da mkt then that is great.

But , hedge your longs incase we go down much further.

Some people will think the $ 100 billion they may agree upon will be enough to keep
growth in the US and Europe intact. These people are wrong. The only things the G7 can
do is avoid a financial meltdown. They cannot avoid the global credit crunch coming in
1999 for much of the world.

JBL,

I am not disputing this but I need to do more research this weekend. I feel like I am floating in a very rough ocean. Thrown here and there.
