Sam, I have definitely heard of charter schools. And their a great first step, however with the power of the NEA, even if they were set up as autonomous organizations, it wouldn't be long before they found a way to mandate curriculum and screw them up too. Too bad the Democrats in Congress, the NEA and other liberal politicians have led the fight on preventing charter schools from expanding though. It would definitely be an improvement over the government system in place today. Michael
