dougjn, the OIC law will expire in '99, I believe, and I don't think the Democrats or Republicans will want the law to remain as written! The Iran-contra investigation lasted seven years and cost 60 billion dollars and the report was delivered on Friday before the election on Tuesday! The Democrats don't seem to remember any of this, the way they sling the barbs at the Republicans about this investigation! Glad to hear you're an Independent!!! As for the "onslaught" against Clinton, well, we've never had someone as sleazy and crooked as Clinton in the White House before!<vbg>
