L3-- your analytic intelligence is most impressive!! I wish I had answer 1/2 as good as your questions. But let me say a few things. First, buying puts on the Utilities Index seems to me to be a waste. That index will -- at worst -- be flat. I cannot see it going down (that's what Merrieather thought btw-- and look what happened to him!). As for the 6th, the Bradley is just a planetary indicator. WHY it works, no one knopws. THAT it works seems quite definite. Friday's action looked like short covering, not real buying. Here is a question for you? Is there any way to find out if bear mkts produce hammers and tweezer tops on Friday afternoons in Bear Mkts? I would guess that htey do. I do not believe that "indicators are indicators." I am sure you would agree that all indicators have to be "read" against a wider background. Finally, having completed my review of the Sunday papers, I would have to say that things look grim. G7 looks to have been a flop. The little people are about to hit the sell button, hard.
