Hi Carl, That's an excellent question, and I do not know the answer. I will look into this and let you know. My gut feel is that there is about 5-10% undercapacity in wafer production at full bore on the chip side. This is because more chip fabs were built in the last boom than silicon production and die shrinks have not proceeded as fast as they might have.
