Greg,

I have flown over the Brooks Range several dozen times but I have never landed there (thank god). The scenery looks pretty impressive. I believe that a lot of Alaska's pristine wilderness should be protected or developed sensitively, but I don't know what ANWR looks like.

The North Slope fields are the most impressive I have ever seen. The environmental record is outstanding and Arco and BP do an amazing job at protecting the environment. I believe it's only a matter of time before ANWR gets developed IMHO.

You may very well be correct about Coflexip being the supplier. I am not invested in them but from past experience I know that they are a first class company and are leaders in their field. The burgeoning market for FPSO and Subsea developments makes them a good investment.

Did you know that the British put a flexible line across the English Channel in WW2 to supply fuel?

The only reason I mentioned Nordstroms is that they are currently more profitable than Arco. <g>

Paul.
