Tim,

This is your opinion. It is NOT a fact. The fact is they are a resource that was over exploited for the last two or three centuries. Whales have been hunted for at least ten thousand years. Now because you have decided they are too smart or too cute or too something you have decided they are different than buffalos or cows or chickens or carrots or whatever you feed yourself and you want to impose that "belief" on everyone else.

Banning whale hunting because they are endangered as a species is valid. Banning the hunt because you think they should be treated differently than all the other lifeforms is not.
