I agreed with the Civil Rights Act. God created us all equal. We are all His children and He does not know us as different races!! Thank God that that's a part of this country's history that's behind us!!!

Well, good. Glad to hear it.

I must admit that I do think that many of the same Southern evangelist denominations, subgroups, etc. (and even families) that are now adherents of the RR agenda, were previously staunch opponents of integration, and civil rights laws generally.

Not in favor of the excesses of the Klan, necessarily, but in favor of letting things be, in the pre-integrationist era.

I too think that affirmative action can go too far, especially these days. I thought it had a place in the early days of the civil rights laws. Role models were needed. Some jump starting was needed. But affirmative action for the sons and daughters of black professionals is a bit hard for me to endorse.
