So far I have not got any reaction out of Royal Bank's discount brokerage! I have written requesting a "daytrading" facility be setup in the discount brokerage. Theobjective would be to have all that is being discussed here; 1) quick order placement======1 minute or less 2) quick confirmation 3) reasonable fees 4) accurate realtime feed 5) market depth I have also requested java intraday charting etc. etc. This won't be done in a week nor a month, but I would be willing to bet that if any of these "canuck banks" want to really provide customer service, then they better look at this, and look at it now! If not, they will lose clients as they already have! Which inturn will make the efficient companies like E*trade and others a "superior takeover target"!! Interesting thought isn't it! the Chief
