Not that I agree but some might argue that this is a blessing in disguise. One has to wonder what happens when the leaders of the floundering economys realize they may have to "go it alone". I shudder to think what may develop out of that scenario. After just arriving back in K.L. after a 2 week sojourn in the States (and one in Europe) I must say that the average person in the U.S. has little clue at the precipice which we are approaching. They know a good deal more about the President's private life, even down to physical descriptions of private parts of his anatomy, then they do about the recession and downward spiral of emerging economys. They know even less about how it might eventually affect them.
