Is it my imagination, or are we down 15% because Cowan says sales MIGHT slow down? This market is as dumb to the downside as it was idiotic to the upside. I've said all along I'd buy more CSCO at 50, so I guess it's time to put my money where my mouth is. Anyone have a sense of what the downside limit is?

Paul

That is just a classic case of the media attributing the sell off to any news about the company. Just because one news event came out on the same day that the market tanks doesn't mean that the market tanked because of the news. There is a micro-economic term I am looking for, but can't think of it right now. Studying has my brain fried! I wish I had some nickels to invest in Cisco right now. Look for a rebound tomorrow, IMO....

Any ideas on why Cisco chose to release the info. on the charges?

Is this Cisco's way of easing us into a quarterly disappointment?

Or has Cisco historically announced any charges related to acquisitions before quarterly numbers are released?

Comments would be appreciated. TIA.
