MARK if you have a marriage of three or 4 women to one man than how can this be true love . In the bible jesus said that when two people become one not only in body but in spirit. Why get married to 4 women just get some hired maids who do alittle more than housework. Im not doubting that most men in islam are involved in monogamous relationships but they have the choice to have 3 more wives and there isnt a thing that the woman can do about it PERIOD end of story here. As far as love and the church people can fall out of love if they let themselves do it. Love and marriage is hard work not a utopia of great feelings that last forever. It also said that marriage isnt meant for everyone. Maybe that is why we have such a high divorce rate here in america and so many people growing up in single parent homes. Marriage is meant for people who can give all of their heart to one another,but it is also meant for people who are ready and strong enough to take on such an endeavor. people these days throw love around like it means nothing. Love is great but it takes hard work also. Lets say that i married 4 women. They would share all of themselves with me in a way that is very intimate and very special for them(a gift so to speak). but i would share myself with three or foyur women. How can this be special?, and i can divorce them by simply saying DIVORCE DIVORCE DIVORCE and SHES OUT OF HERE. marriage is also sacrifice. There are children and their future involved.
