They present no new data. All the information about the level of stock options, at CSCO and MSFT and lots of other tech (and finance) companies, has been available for a long time. The only thing that's changed is the interpretation of that data. People are looking for reasons to be bearish. People usually find what they're looking for.

So, to sum up: the facts are the same but the sentiment has changed => the facts get re-interpreted => the stock goes down => weak hands sell to strong hands.

Geez, the stock closed merely 1 1/2 points form a new high set on Friday. I wouldn't have known it dropped. Thanks for letting us know. -g-
