Hey Michelle, I hate to tell you this, but the "real" value of that 1 MM rancher is what the market says it is. It's called supply and demand. Instead of fighting the market why don't you try going with the flow. How 'bout buying a 500K fixer upper with that hedge fund, put some sweat equity into it and slap it back on the market for 1MM! Trust me, it really isn't that hard. bp

If Oracle has hiring problems because they've located in an area that is out of the reach of their employees, I'd say they have two options, Pay Higher Salaries or Relocate. Oh, I guess they could consider instituting a telecommuting program as a possible solution. bp
