I still say the real answer is for companies to not grow their operations there. Trust me, I know some of these people - they (executives) complain all the time about turnover but they aren't willing to do anything about it other than play accounting games with options and rhetorically demonize existing homeowners in order to appear that they really care whether their employees have a home or have to commute four hours a day. I totally disagree in every way with this statement. The first sentence is truly destructive to California. And I dont know what you expect executives to "do" about this mess unless they resort to your first sentence (MOVE). Your characterization of mgmt is not reflective of what I have seen in high tech.

K,I guess we are not communicating here<< IF they want to move >> I didn't suggest that that anyone must be forced to move .With a reverse mortgage the house owner stays in the house until death <<those who are there were being raped previously>>If this means what I think it does here in lies the crux of the matter.You are clearly correct if we cut off this generation they will now become the victims.As indeed they paid their share[and in pre inflation dollars I might add]I believe there must however be a better way.I suspect that a little more self reliance placed on this generation coupled with some ss tax relief from the budget surplus can gradually extradite us from this mess.I myself am self employed and believe me that 15% right off the top is indeed bovine satology .[was hoping to find away to get that in] pez
