Michael,

You never cease to amaze me.....buying diamonds in the midst of a global equity meltdown and looming turmoil....an exquisite, contrarian move....this one grabs me by the gut..I will join you for the ride tomorrow.

Good luck,

Jerry

Hi Mike

I haven't posted here in a coons age!! Seems a pretty popular thread these days... I wonder why?
The DeBeers investment got me. I have a hard time with a company who robbed land, killed competition, forced labor, ruined hundreds of lives... being so damned successful!-g-
I like the part of how they got into the American psyche (like a virus!) To the point a guy can get laid for a month for giving a rock!

How does that slogan go?? .. just hand over a months salary and we'll see she tackles your butt and grants you your every whim.
No, I think it's work your ass off for us for a month and we'll give you a rock we paid someone 25 cents an hour to dig.(the old days of digging-g-)

The cornering of the Russian market, and our industrial diamond markets was ethical compared to their early practices.-g-

good luck with the investment!
Mark
