As I've said before, I think that the reason that ORCL has gotten
so little respect is a combination of the color of their money and
a history of failing with new products (which are related, of course).
It's also possible that the "earnings surprise" did engender personal
feelings on the part of firms that then shunned ORCL, as some people
claim (I am dubious, but unsure).

If apps really does revive (as it shows some signs of doing), and
8i is a hit (as early news and analyst reports appear to expect),
then ORCL's service strength should be seen at a big asset, and
not something to drag down the P/E.

That is perhaps the most absurd post I've ever read in my life.

<<ORCL is showing lots of strength in a troubled market, and should at least have a
PE of 40.>>

HAHAHAHAHA.

<<Compare PSFT and SAP at an average of 60. That would put ORCL at $60. >>

Sure thing, $60. With that great mathematical justifcation, maybe you can be an analyst too!

Let's tell the smart money on Wall St. who are dumping this baby like a bad habit. I'm sure they know much less than you.

Please buy more, I WANT to see you lose money so you'll learn how to invest because quite obviously this bull market has treated you and a host of other morons too well, making you think that you're investment gurus all of a sudden.

Flush your profits goodbye as you attempt to "buy on the dips."

You don't know JACK.
