Spooky, but I agree completely. I sold my S&P puts today and went long on a few issues, including VECO. I hear Montgomery lowered earnings estimates, but this dip may also indicate that they didn't make the quarter, and that another pre-announcement is coming in the next day. Last time the pre-announcement wasn't bad, and the stock rallied on the news.

In their earnings release a few days ago SMIT indicated that VECO had told them to expect stronger sales in the last half of the year, so I don't see anything horrible happening here. I think VECO will hold 23, but I'm not sure it can generate any positive momentum before this rally peters out.

Hey Zeev, you like high volume reversals of beaten down stocks. What do you make of ASEC?

Hi, Zeev

Could you give me your technical and fundamental views of AMD? Earnings is out today after the bell, one cent profit instead of the expected 13 cent loss per share. Resistance is at 21-22 and I am looking to short it.
