Hi Don Re buy signal on my system--not yet but it could happen if the strength continues. Will post if/when it does. Re VIX -- it could get to the lo to mid 30s this go around. I have placed my first order to sell a few OEX calls -- the 500s--to be spread against the ones that I am long. Will add more contracts down the line--on the short side. The only index that has given me a clear buy signal at this point is the SOX--I did not take a postion however--I track some of these just to see if the trend is broad-based. A buy signal in the BKX as well would cause me to think that the market could go somewhat higher--but we are some ways off from that. BTW, I will lift the long side of the OEX calls when your system gives a sell signal--so a lot is riding on your system:)
