>>Now my question is- if i was Dell, GATEWAY ,Compaq, HP . why on earth would i put a product in my computer that is made and marketed by an up and coming competitor? <<

This is a tired, old question that I've answered before on several occasions. Why don't you ask the same question about IBM? IBM hard drives are in several boxmaker's configurations. Same with NEC monitors. Boxmakers don't see to have a problem with buying anything from each other.

And...Sony's invention, the 3.5 inch floppy drive, is IN EVERY MANUFACTURER'S COMPUTERS ALREADY. Computer makers don't seem to have a problem installing Sony drives in their computers.

Don't expect a logical response from the master baiter.
