I understand very well what the intent of usury laws are and agree that they are outdated socialist ideas. But that has nothing to do with any of your previous posts or my responses to you. There was no discussion of the philosophical underpinnings of usury laws. Instead you made an unsupportable comment implying that banks were allowed to avoid usury laws back in the early 80s. Not true.
