Dave, I hope you are right, but I am pessimistic. In this swing from "irrational exuberance" to "irrational depression", the prevailing rule of thumb may change to one where P/Es of stocks in mature industries revert back to 10-12, and P/Es of stocks in high growth industries fall back to 15-20.

This will put TLAB at where it is now for the next couple of years, as revenue growth will be much reduced in the short term.

Steve

Dave, with all respect, TLAB is a Dead Horse for next 3 months on tax loss selling. CSCO & LU NOKA ASND are breaking down Badly right NOW. ALA CIEN, ERICY have already crashed and are headed lower.
Telecom equip is no place to be long right now. But you may remember I've been VERY skeptical about TLAB for a Year now. Burke said it himself when he warned. The Growth/Momentum investing play for TLAB is OVER; at best TLAB's in the $20's by Q1-99
