aya, I don't think you're going to find many people anywhere who respond positively to negativity, except those who spread negativity themselves.

I guess it's the old glass is half empty/full issue. You have elected to wear sh*t-colored glasses and you're having a difficult time convincing others they give you the best view.

Don't think, however, that people don't get the points you are making if they say they don't care for your presentation.

You are tired of others not posting the way you think they should post. Well, welcome to the club!

Afternoon Aya,

I believe that I understand what you are saying. However, different people have different needs and express themselves differently. You have a need to look at the negative side first and be surprised when the positive happens. Why? Well, I don't know, but perhaps its because the negative surprise is such a hard thing to handle. I myself am often this way.

Others have a need to look at the positive most the time and take the negative surprises as they come. Why? Perhaps its because they find the occasional negative surprise easier to deal with than the overall negative attitude.

I don't know... those are just guesses. What is clear to me though is that one way of looking at the world not necessarily better than the other... nor is it a better prescription for an approach to investing.

As far as the chat is concerned... well, all I can say is that the majority of this group believes it is just fine to talk about the weather, their birthdays, births in their families and even... yes, their trip to Austin. You know what? I want to know all that stuff... and apparently, so do a lot of other people. I don't know what else to tell you.

And what can be construed as hype versus bashing? That too, is a matter of opinion. Anytime one posts an opinion, which both examples you cited clearly labeled the statements as such, one can be construed as hyping the stock or bashing the stock. Such is the nature of a bulletin board. I could go back to several of your posts, for example, and say (though you are a shareholder) that you are a basher because you have made negative statements that are not fully supported by fact. Lets just leave it alone... BTW... I don't like extreme statements on either end of the spectrum... but, then again, that's me.

Lastly,

I find that people here dont like me or my posts because they are almost always negative and critical so i dont expect anyone to really care what I have to say..

Aya, you are in control of this. I would say that there are folks here lately that are also disenchanted with the company and have publicly stated that. Yet, they receive a very different sort of treatment. Why is that?

Lazarus, signing off with an unanswered question... unbelievable!

P.S. Just wondering... which category would you place our two posts under?

I too admit that Paul has been more right lately than anyone else on this thread.

He does post good stuff-- and seems to have toned down a bit.

The juicy hype is old, old, old...

Nice post.

<<ANd of course the posts that can be construed as hype:

<<Thought it was just a speed "suggestion"! >>

What's your suggestion? Mine is 25 in home or school zones, 45 in
commercial, 75 on highway, and 105 or up on Interstates.
Same as with DGIV, $2.00 @ next week, $3.00 by month end, $6.25 by
Nov.
$8.00 by year end. :-) JMHO. >>

This is my post. You don't like this kind of post?? TOO BAD!!! Beside this post was not directed to you anyway, why put your nose in it and smell then cry "It smells like somebody S**t". Get a life, will you?
Tell you this, I myself hate 2 faces person the most, they are not brave enough to be themselves from their first born until their deads.

Do you still recognize this post?

I am more than ready for a little something to happen in DGIV-land.
Tomorrow DGIV will be proclaimed 'best internet play' by a number of
major networks and media conglomerates. There will be an
announcement at 10:00 am EST. The markets will close momentarily to
prepare to buy nothing but DGIV. 10000 here we come!

Think twice before you speak.
