OTOTOT Pat, It seems you are more interested in twisting my points around than you are in understanding what I am saying. Perhaps it's time to agree to disagree, and leave it at that. But let me wrap up by saying the following: 1) AT&T is an Ascend account. The press release you are refering to is of AT&T acting as a reseller for Newbridge's switches to enterprises. I know because I talk to AT&T. 2) Newbridge's switches are cheaper, and they are likely more appropriate for smaller enterprise and provider networks that aren't going to be stressed to the extent that the bigger providers' networks will be. I expect more wins for Newbridge in accounts like Telekom South Afrika where the customer is more price-sensitive and less particular about switch performance. 3) Newbridge will be stronger in the enterprise market, maybe even stronger than Ascend because their switches are a lot cheaper. But the contracts are much, much smaller. 4) Enjoy Newbridge's contracts with SBC, C&W, and BT. They are long-time Newbridge customers, but I don't think they will win any more contracts like these. I will be happy for you if Newbridge proves me wrong! bucky89
