LOD... I just made 2K, not really knowing what I was doing. Yesterady I bought Oct 57.5 P @ 2, today I sold it @ 4. Originally I had bought the puts as protection. Today I decided that I just wanted out, and put in a GTC based on what I bought it for (just looking for break even). Low and behold, I see this filled order for $4K, and my reaction was... what's this?.... I was sorta confused.... Finally I realized that I just made $2K on on my 24 hour transaction...and I still have my long position. So... what I'm now thinking is that ol' saw about not fighting the tape. Even though DELL is retreating, maybe I can get some side cash to cushion the decline. Sort of an "ah ha", and putting on a different thinking cap. Also thinking about rolling my Oct70 covered calls to Oct65 ;) Laura
