Upgradeability? That's a whole nother can of worms!

I had a 386 that was upgradeable, until the 486 came out and the chip didn't fit in the old motherboard. But it was upgradeable, until the local bus motherboards came out, but my new local bus motherboard was upgradeable until the PCI slots came out, but the PCI motherboard would always be upgradeable unless of course you want a Pentium II or an AGP graphic card (and I hope you didn't buy those until after the 100mhz buses came out!) Buy what you want or buy what you need, but don't buy because it's upgradeable.
