Chiggars, we no shit have 'em. Little blood sucking bugs. Damn, do they raise an itch. Best to cut them out and pour turpinetine on the sores. Have lots of ticks also. I had one in my scalp that took a year and a half to heal.

Got into fire ants in Florida,you can have those little buggers too.
