Not sure if this site is one that you watch:

marketgauge.com

What's your take on its indications?

Thanks,

Steve

re: mini stairstep

a couple of notes and a question

tech stocks look like they've found support. I'm saying that
just because today was not as bad as yesterday. Meanwhile
there's actually buying in other places, few as they may
be. So if tomorrow isn't really bad I think another rally
to 8100 is in order. If that happens the next make or
break moment will be next week, still in line with your
oct 7 - 13 timeframe. Also in this case no real harm is
done to the stairstep outline.

now the question. I understand that the stairstep thing
is just an observation of how this seems to be playing
out, but does it make sense that a mini stairstep
would form without the indices having gone below the
the previous large step first?

I'm more inclined to think that this current step is
very large, having eaten up all of September and looking
to eat up most of October as well before it finishes
its business. Either that or it's all over by noon
tomorrow.

Shahar
