Arik, I believe you've been a bear for a while (me too), where do you see support? Does it jive with Dynamite Donald Sew et all?

If you've survived trading this market...then you've been successful!!!

>>So it's been 3 sells in a row

Yep

>> and only money management stops had stopped you out of taking the profit<<

Pretty much--most signals produce some intra-day profits; the problem is that by the time it reverses, I could end up losing money or at best giving up a lot of the profits.

>>Looks like the volatility of the market shook your system, too.

For sure

But a stable system will get back in line -- and until it does money management becomes key.

>>I did so so last month, trying to better my trader skills.
I was right more often then not, but couldn't translate that to a significant improvement of my net. Winning in spoonfuls and losing in buckets.<<

Not sure whether you use a system or not when entering and exiting trades but here is an excerpt from a private communication that I sent someone who sought my advice/guidance.

It is VERY difficult to stick to the system that one has and know works -- but you must do so WITHOUT EXCEPTION. Failure to do so will cost you dearly. Some one once said that one must embrace ones losses -- another said that he views losses as a cost of doing business. Both statements are very accurate. I have taken several sizable losses recently following my system--and it is at such times that it becomes most difficult to follow the system--but it is also when one MUST do so. Anyone can follow a system when it is making money -- the tough part is to follow it when one is not. But -- if one has a good system, in the long run, it will make money--and that is what matters.
